The Diocesan youth office is located at 4 Reservation Road Caritas compound, kenema.The office ensures holistic formation and training of young people in the Diocese. It organizes a wide range of activities that incorporate various means and resources that create an enabling environment where young people can live and grow with a sense of purpose.
The youth office facilities, animates, supervise, promote and ensure career development of young people in the diocese. Retreats, symposia, youth catechism, Games and sports, leadership training, youth employment, debates, campaigns and outreach visitations and meetings advocacies are among the numerous activities organized for young people. The sustainability of the office is ensured by the local contributions of the youth and some input from the Bishop and the diocese. The youth chaplain Rev.Fr Desmond Lebbie and the youth coordinator Mr Lawrence Prince Samai plan and coordinate the activities of all the youth organizations in the Diocese.
